February News and Schedule
Hope your year is going well... That training for whatever you're aiming for as your 'A' race for the year is progressing to plan.
Sadly the Sunday League XC was cancelled due to the soggy ground and the impact it would have had on Royston Heath, but 9 of you managed to get to Cassiobury Park for the Herts Seniors Cross Country. Apparently, it was a bit "slippy" - don't let that put you off for the next one in February.
We also had another successful club 5k - more volunteers than runners though and hope that in February and as we progress into warmer weather, we'll see more of you out. Fred Hughes had a whopping number of you there and the ladies got a Bronze team prize... Seeing the number of you out has inspired us to try and focus on our 2023 Club League on more local events so we see that sea of red Arrows tops. More soon.
AGM
Hopefully, you will have seen the AGM notice for 22nd February and also the follow-up social on 5th March when we hope to give out the awards won for efforts in 2022. For the AGM we need (beyond your attendance) any questions and also nominations for the members' award. We look forward to hearing from you!
