Club Performance Standards for 2022
WAVA Performance Awards Scheme requirements
We are hoping the Covid-19 Pandemic is not going to affect the Race Calendar too badly this year, although there may be some cancellations. Rather than dwelling on 'lockdown' we want to send a more positive message and encourage people to get out there and have a target for the year. We are renaming the traditional 'Club Standards' as 'Performance Standards' or levels and reverting back to 'Gold', 'Silver' 'Bronze' etc as in pre-Covid times. These awards will work in the familiar way with slightly different qualifying requirements for the 'basket' of events and different WAVA scores determining the Award you can claim.
We will be retaining the facility to submit virtual races, so long as the results are published so that we can verify your results, most race events should be admissible, if if events need to go virtual again to comply with Government or EA restrictions.
